The Buh-speaking community of Nakere in Wamba Local Government Area (LGA) of Nasarawa State faced a tragedy as unidentified gunmen attacked the area.

The attack resulted in the death of a youth leader, Tari Moses Gbaja, popularly known as T Boy.

The incident, which occurred on Wednesday, February 28 at about 9 pm, also saw the kidnapping of a businessman, Nnamani Albert, and Tabitha Dauda Musa, the wife of the presiding pastor of Christ-Elect Revival Mission.

Daily Post gathered that the gunmen left several residents injured.

Efforts to obtain comments from the police regarding the incident were unsuccessful as of the time of filing this report.
