A woman has taken to the X platform to narrate how she attempted to stand up for her friend at a restaurant and how it backfired.
She explained that she went to a restaurant with her friend but the friend was denied entry for defying their dress code.
When she questioned why her friend was being denied entry, whereas she was granted entry despite also wearing a short dress, she got a response that she says she still remembers even after one year.
She wrote: “They did the whole dress code thing to my friend at Mantra, they said her skirt was short.
“Thinking I was standing up for her I said ‘if you won’t let her eat then you will have to stop me too because my dress is also short’ and they responded ‘you’re short so it’s okay’.”
