Popular Nigerian activist, Martins Vincent Otse aka VeryDarkMan has taken to his Instagram page to share a distressing video of a woman accusing airport authorities of unfair charges.

The footage shows the woman claiming she was forced to pay ₦5,000 per bag, sparking a heated argument with airport staff.

In the video, she alleged that she was beaten by the officers at the Muritala Mohammed Airport.

She vowed to pay ₦1 million to popular bloggers, including GistLover and Instablog, for publicity.

Responding, the officials stated that they were on official duty and had done nothing wrong.

Before the start of his verbal message, VeryDarkMan clarified that he did not receive a dime from her before posting the video.

He vowed to begin investigations into the issue while also blaming airport staffs constant begging on low salaries, urging the federal government to increase their salaries.

In the caption, VeryDarkMan tagged Minister of Aviation Festus Keyamo, questioning the legitimacy of the charges.

“When did you add these charges to passengers’ bags? If true, will we soon pay for the air we breathe in Nigeria?”, he said.
