A female student of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) has been accused of stealing her roommate’s 20-inch bone straight hair and cutting it down to 8 inches to attend the concert of Afrobeats star, Rema.

The incident quickly spread across campus, drawing widespread attention and ridicule. As news of the theft circulated, other students gathered to witness the scene as officials from the UNIBEN surveillance team apprehended the student involved.

The situation took an even more ironic turn as onlookers mocked the student by singing along to Rema’s latest hit, “Ozeba,” further highlighting the embarrassment of the situation.
