A young African man, who paid a visit to his grandfather recently, has shared a video from the visit online.

The young man captured the emotional response of his 99-year-old grandfather in Zambia, who still appears to be in great shape despite his age.

The man, identified as @directedbykumiko on TikTok, revealed how it had been 12 years since he last saw his grandfather.

In an emotional video, he surprised his old man with a visit and spent a week with him at his home. Upon seeing his grandson, the elderly man was surprised and moved, almost brought to tears.

The grandfather looked remarkably youthful and energetic compared to others his age.

“Surprised visited my Grandad who just turned 99 and safe to say he was pretty speechless.

“Haven’t seen him in 12 years and got to spend the week with him. Best trip ar ever! Family is so so important,” he captioned the video.
