Speaking through a representative at the 9th convocation ceremony of the Federal University, Dutsinma, in Katsina, the President stressed that his administration is determined to address insecurity head-on.
He also emphasized that tackling insecurity is a collective responsibility, urging citizens to assist by providing valuable information to security operatives.
Tinubu was represented by Professor Abdulkarim Mohammed, Vice Chancellor of the Federal University, Dutse, Jigawa State, who called on Nigerians to support government efforts by reporting suspicious activities to authorities.
In addition, Tinubu encouraged the nation’s youth to take advantage of a loan scheme, which has seen over N70 billion disbursed, to aid their educational and entrepreneurial pursuits. He reiterated that governance is a collective effort, stating, “Governance is not about the presidency or those in places of leadership but about Nigeria and Nigerians, who will make the country better.”
