The former Nigerian Army officer was found dead in a hotel located within the Nigerian Defence Academy base in Buruku, Plateau State.

A military signal, exclusively obtained by SaharaReporters, confirmed that the deceased’s body has been moved to the 3 Division Military Hospital in Jos for further investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.

The signal stated: “At about 161520A 24, TPS of HQ 3 Div received information that Col BT Vandi (rtd) was found dead in a hotel room at NDA base camp, Bukuru, Plateau State. TPS mobilized to the scene and moved the corpse to 3DMSH for further action. Pic attached.”
