President Bola Ahmed Tinubu presided over the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Wednesday, October 23, at the Presidential Villa.

The FEC meeting saw the attendance of nearly all its members, though notable absences were reported due to national duties abroad.

Vice President Kashim Shettima is currently representing Nigeria at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Apia, Samoa.

Other absentees included the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar; Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo; Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu; Minister of Environment, Professor Joseph Utsev; and the Minister for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.
