A Nigerian pharmacist, Emeka, has shared a shopping list from the 90s of the prices of food items in the market.
The list dated April 1990, shows that a bag of rice cost N350, Garri – N125 while a crate of egg was N25.
“I just stumbled on this shopping list from the 90s. Note that the items in this list were purchased in bags and not small quantities. This is to show you how bad things in Nigeria have become,” he wrote.
