My Family Name Was Ojukwu But It Was Changed to Damasus During Civil War – Stella Damasus

According to her, her family name used to be Ojukwu, but it was changed during the Nigerian civil war.

Popular actress, Stella Damasus has made a revelation about her family name.

She revealed that her family name used to be Ojukwu before it was changed.

Damasus spoke during a video interview with media personality, Ebuka Obi Uchendu.

According to her, her family name used to be Ojukwu, but it was changed during the Nigerian civil war.

She stated that during the time, it was assumed to be related to the Biafran general, Ojukwu, and people automatically attacked anyone they assumed to be related to him.

 

“My family name was Ojukwu but it was changed to Damasus during the civil war to avoid being attacked by Nigerian Soldiers…,” she said in part.
