The Lagos state government has sentenced a lady to four months imprisonment for assaulting an official of the Kick-Against-Indiscipline in the state.

The state Commissioner of Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, disclosed this on X on Monday evening.

46 suspects were also arrested by the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps, for failing to use the pedestrian bridge and crossing the highway in Oshodi Oke and Ile Epo.

He shared videos of some suspects arrested earlier today and wrote;

‘’46 persons were earlier today arrested by the operatives of Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (KAI) @LAGESCOfficial for not using the pedestrian bridge and crossing the highway in Oshodi Oke and Ile Epo. They have been charged to court for prosecution.

A lady who was also arrested for not using the pedestrian bridge, assaulted and tore the uniform of an official of KAI at Ile Epo bus stop, has been sentenced to 4 months imprisonment.”
