Numerous residents of Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, numbering hundreds, have gathered at the site of the bomb explosion that occurred in the ancient city on Tuesday.

An explosion occured at a private residence at Dejo Oyelese Close in Bodija Housing Estate on Tuesday evening.

Daily Post reports that although only few people were allowed to enter the close, many of the residents are currently at the entrance to assess the situation.

Rescue operations have since commenced.
