Security agencies and additional teams dispatched to the site of Tuesday night’s explosion in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, have commenced rescue operations.
Recall that the explosion occured at a building located at Dejo Oyelese close, Bodija Housing Estate in Ibadan.
Daily Post correspondent, who is currently at the scene, reports that sniffer dogs detected a man, prompting the security agents to evacuate him to a hospital for attention.
The teams at the scene of the explosion comprise of Red Cross, Federal Road Safety Corps, Nigeria Police Force, Nigerian Army, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Amotekun operatives, Department of State Services and the Oyo State Emergency Management Agency.
The rescue operation was ongoing at the time of filing this report on Wednesday.
