A medical doctor, Utoo Joshua Msughter has been killed by gunmen in Benue.

The deceased was buried amid tears in Logo Local Government Area of the state.

The 47-year-old was shot dead in his car while travelling from Ugba to Anyiin in LGA on August 29, 2024.

A family member, Anume Robertson Goma, shared photos from the burial held on Wednesday, September 11, in Tse-Ordi, Mbabagu, Mbawar, Gaambe-Tiev in Logo.

There has been a resurgence of mass killings, kidnapping, bloodletting and destruction of properties in Sankera axis of the state.

The criminal activities are suspected to be carried out by remnants of the dreaded gang members of late militia leader, Terwase Akwaza alias Gana.
