The Federal government says it’s planning to borrow $750 million from the World bank for some states to stimulate local economies in Nigeria.
Minister of Finance, Finances, and Nationwide Planning, Zainab Ahmed, disclosed this on the inauguration ceremony of the Federal Steering Committees of the Nigeria COVID-19 Motion Restoration and Financial Stimulus (N-CARES) in Abuja on Friday, November 13.
In keeping with the Finance Minister, the Nigerian Government “is within the strategy of accessing a World Financial institution mortgage of $750 million on behalf of the states, to stimulate the native economic system and assist susceptible family’s consumption”.
