Isaac Freeman, the famous American rapper and radio personality, who was professionally known as Fatman Scoop, is dead.

Rapper Fatman Scoop died at 53 after suffering a medical emergency on stage during a concert.

Announcing his death on Saturday, his tour manager said he was ‘lost for words.’

A viral video on social media showed the moment Scoop collapsed on stage in Hamden Town Center Park, Connecticut, on Friday, and was rushed to hospital.

He was seen struggling after he climbed the stage at his final show before disappearing from view, as medics raced to revive him.
