Desmond Elliot, a well-known Nigerian actor turned politician, has expressed deep gratitude on social media as he marks his 49th birthday.

The member of the Lagos state House of Assembly shared a video on his Instagram page, capturing moments from his birthday celebration.

At 49, he took a moment to reflect on the blessings of the past two decades and expressed heartfelt gratitude for reaching the milestone.

He wrote: “Just yesterday I was grateful for being 29 years of age, and 20 years later I’m still so grateful to God for everything, Life, good health, family, love, friends, happiness, fulfilment, grace and favour.

“Lord, you give me reasons to praise you with a heart filled with thanks every day. Happy birthday to me.”
