A video of a couple tying the knot from the Northern region of the country has left tongues wagging due to their countenance during the wedding ceremony.

A video shared by a wedding guest, via the TikTok handle @Muhammadabdullah5685, shows the groom and bride sitting far apart from each other at their wedding reception.

They refused to look at themselves.

The husband wore an angry look on his face while the bride looked timid and leaned into someone who placed a comforting hand on her shoulder.

The couple did not spare a smile for guests who sprayed them with 10 and 20 naira notes.

Later, the bride is seen frowning while dancing without her groom on the dance floor.
