Suspected bandits, believed to be gunmen, carried out a terror attack on Nahuche community in Bungudu Local Government Area of Zamfara State. The assailants killed seven locals and abducted numerous individuals during the incident.

According to a community source, Tasiu Nahuche, the terrorists invaded the village in the wee hours of Wednesday.

He explained that the community members were already asleep when the bandits stormed the village and started shooting sporadically.

“We were running helter-skelter to save our lives.

“Nobody can exactly say the number of people abducted,” he said.

But all efforts to get a response from the State police spokesman, Yazid Abdulahi proved abortive as of the time of filing this report.
