Award-winning singer, Asake has been named Nigeria’s best-selling artist for 2024, surpassing the country’s top music industry giants.

As revealed on TurnTable’s annual end-of-year chart, Asake has secured the top spot for an unprecedented third consecutive year.

This milestone makes Asake the first artist in Nigerian music history to hold the number one position for three years in a row.

His projects, including the albums “Mr Money With The Vibe” and “Work Of Art”, maintained chart-topping success throughout 2024.

Asake’s third album, “Lungu Boy”, released in August, dominated the charts, spending 15 weeks at number one and emerging as the best-selling album of 2024.

Asake also reigned as the number one radio artist for the second consecutive year.

On streaming platforms, Asake’s supremacy continued, finishing 2024 as the top artist on Apple Music, with “Lungu Boy” leading the album charts. He also dominated Audiomack and was crowned the number one artist on YouTube in Nigeria.
