The bereaved family of late Aduke Gold has announced the funeral rites of the gospel singer who died on Monday, August 12, 2024.

Aduke, who succumbed to cervical cancer will be laid to rest on Friday, August 23, 2024.

A candlelight procession in her honor is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, August 21, followed by an artistes’ night on Friday, August 22.

Both events will be held at Karaole Primary School, Ifako, Lagos, from 6 pm to 6 am.

“We held a family meeting and decided that the burial would take place on the 23rd of August, with several outlined programmes. On the 21st, there will be a candlelight vigil,” the announcement read in part.
