Kogi Deputy Gov, Wife Prostrate Before Yahaya Bello After Swearing-In (VIDEO)

Salifu Joel Oyibo, the Kogi State Deputy Governor has prostrated for the immediate past governor of the state, Yahaya Bello.

Oyibo made the gesture on Saturday.

After taking his oath of office administered by the Chief Judge of the state, Justice Josiah Majebi, Oyibo and his wife walked towards Bello and prostrated before him.

Oyibo and Governor Usman Ododo were declared the winners of the governorship election held in November 2023.

However, Ododo made his first set of appointments shortly after he was sworn-in.

He retained Bello’s loyalists, nephew and some commissioners.

He appointed Ali Bello as his Chief of Staff despite being tried for a N3 billion alleged fraud.
