According to Simi, parents should teach the girl child not to be dependent on men.

Nigerian singer Simi has sent a message to parents.

She urged them to train their daughters in a way that they wouldn’t depend on men.

Simi stated this in a video posted on social media, calling on parents to make sure their girls are self-sufficient.
